Digital View group launches new media player
Being one of the world’s foremost suppliers of advanced
interface solutions for the LCD display market, Digital
View group is a global leader in developing display
electronics products and services. Recently launched
ViewStream 400, designed for its use with HD LCD
and plasma display, is a new feather on the hat of the
company.
Applications of ViewStream 400 include point-ofpurchase
(POP) messaging and promotions, product
demonstration videos, digital menu boards, customer
information
kiosks, museum
information
displays and
digital docents.
The product is
designed to use as a
stand-alone player
without network
connectivity. Its
content will be
updated via USB
port and USB
memory stick.
Standard
configuration of
ViewStream 400 allows users to store more than 50 hours
of content via a SATA hard drive. Content scheduling
and play list could be managed using DV Studio Plus.
The player supports formats including MPEG-1,
MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 video in standard or highdefinition
native resolution. And MP3 audio and JPEG
file formats are also supported by ViewStream 400.
The 1.2-kg player is measured around 180 x 235
mm. Video output of this compact media player is
operated through ARGB port whereas the audio is via
a 3.5 mm stereo auto jack. RP-400 is OEM version
of ViewStream 400 that can be used by those looking
for a purpose built, networkable digital media player.
This new avatar of ViewStream 400 is designed to be
supported by software integrators.
