OOH Media joins hands with
UNICEF to promote child rights

OOH Media India Pvt Ltd and UNICEF India have agreed to work together to campaign for the projection of the rights of every Indian child. In the spirit of UNICEF’s global campaign ‘Uniting for Children’, the partnership will work to bring together people from all walks of life to ensure the basic rights of children. In the front, OOH Media will disseminate messages that aim to raise social awareness through its network of over 4700 LCD screens installed at prime locations in 23 cities across India. Child malnutrition, HIV/AIDS, child labour and girls’ education will be the main slogans to be highlighted onscreen.

Partnership with UNICEF India is part of OOH Media’s onscreen CSR property ‘OOH Cares’ wherein the company dedicates its support to social causes and PSMs. OOH Media will dedicate four-week-long screen time for messages designed by UNICEF India where four separate issues will be displayed separately in each week.

Niloufer Dundh, CSO, OOH Media says, “We will utilise the strength of our network and that of Flexicast to garner maximum benefit for the UNICEF. For example, we will have sub-titles on the films customised to the city/region where the films are playing in. Also, we plan to offer potential sponsors an opportunity to promote the cause of UNICEF.” He further mentioned that CSR is a big initiative that many companies are embarking on and the UNICEF is a great cause to be associated with.
