OOH Media on social causes

OOH Media has launched its new on-screen ‘OOH Cares’– corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative dedicating to social causes/public service messages, which will be created either in-house or patronised. The company earlier had supported various CSR activities like ‘Quit Tobacco Movement’ by Salaam Bombay Foundation, fund-rising art exhibition by Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) and MAM Movies Film Making Contest wherein the signage company instituted Flash59 Contest and other similar activities.

Planning to take ‘OOH Cares’ to a new level where they would talk about ‘Going Green–the OOH Way’, this new initiative will connect to day-to-day activities of Indian consumers as a ‘green guide.’ Ishan Raina, CEO, OOH Media said that OOH medium is a powerful and effective communication medium, which can communicate with both local and international viewers in their languages. “We would like to contribute to the welfare of the community by offering our medium as a CSR platform,” he added.

According to Ashutosh Parekh, national content head, OOH Media, “Our medium is present at multiple touch points of the 24-hour media cycle of the viewer beginning from a gym or a workplace in the morning to his residential complex in the evening and a mall/multiplex or a restaurant during the weekend.” OOH Media supports and promotes all social causes at local and national levels whether it may be of anti-tobacco campaign, environmental issue, cancer aid, AIDS awareness, or education.
