Moving Tactics selects Isenzo
Mediacaster for digital signage network

South Africa’s leading player in retail advertising Moving Tactics has selected Isenzo as the company’s digital signage technology provider. The tie-up was being executed after a three-month field trial between the two companies. “Digital signage offers significant ROI compared to static POS signage, in addition to being highly versatile and visually appealing,” said Moving Tactics’ business development director, Ray Smeda. He further mentioned that the success of the software in the Midas environment has given Moving Tactics absolute confidence in Isenzo and the latter will provide the Mediacaster software in Picardi Rebel, Ultra Liquor, Makro Cellular and Sport Store environments nationally.

Isenzo’s co-founder and CEO, Peter Robson outlined that current market situations are inviting retailers to employ new marketing strategies to drive sales. “The rapid uptake of digital signage is supported by research studies that show 70 per cent of all purchase decisions are made in-store and that using digital signage to deliver compelling in-store content produces demonstrable sales lift,” he said.

Moving Tactics has initially deployed Isenzo’s software to manage their Midasbranded retail channel, which displays advertising programmes, entertainments and news headlines in 100 outlets of the automotive spares group. “Mediacaster is an open-platform digital signage product that has been designed for companies and organisations who wish to create and manage their own media channels. After two years of extensive development and testing, winning over a key player like Moving Tactics demonstrates that our software is ready for complex, large-scale deployments in the digital signage sector,” according to Robson.
